A 17-day arts festival across the city of Bath featuring live performances from both local, national and world musicians as well as dance, theatre, art exhibitions, carnival and children's events with many free gigs.

Spiegel Palace, on Bath's recreation ground, is hosting many of the free events and kid's stuff all day for 9 days, with concerts in the evening, all within the mirror-bedecked art nouveau splendour of one of the last remaining Spiegeltents, travelling venues since the 1920s.

The dates for the most popular regular events are now established:
The Fringe Art Fair - Saturday and Sunday, 24th and 25th May
Bedlam Fair Street Arts Festival – Saturday and Sunday, 30th-31st May.
Bedlam in the Park - Monday 1st June.
Walcot Nation Day – Sunday 8th June

The full festival programme is now available and includes everything from visual art exhibitions to installations, classical theatre and street performance workshops, morris dancing to hip-hop sessions as well as live music. Performers will be appearing at a number of different venues and include the James Hunter Band, Rory McLeod, Amy Wadge, Flook! and the New Cool Collective.

Bath Children's Arts Festival has been cancelled this year due to volunteer fatigue but there are still children's events taking place such as The Wheel Thing Pedal-Power festival on Kensington Meadows leading up to June 7th.
