Chill in the Park 2007

Claiming to be a modest chillout event with big ambitions, this is an afternoon which aims to celebrate 'World of Nottingham music', with a line-up that captures the cosmopolitan spirit of this East Midland city, a snapshot of the city's wealth of musical diversity.

With music and musicians originating from Europe, Africa, Asia, The Caribbean and the Middle East, confirmed acts include: Lyrikool Lipz; 12 Bore; Ling Peng and Xiao Ying; Farhad & Koresh; MC C Mone; Morag Christie; Ruth Notman; St Cecilia's Polish Choir; and Veronica Namboowa.

This family-friendly event will also have a selection of stalls and plays host to City Arts' Arts and Crafts Marquee.

Gates open at noon with the music finishing at around 6pm.
