Picnic Festival 2009

The creators of The Ambient Picnic, return after a year off with a a mini version of the one day event in it's traditional surroundings of Shalford Park, Guildford on Sunday the 21st of June, from 12 noon til 10pm.
The line-up details to-date, are as follows:
Main Stage: Subsource, Wobbly Squadron, A Stranger In Moscow, Yearner Babies, Flame To Fire, Spotlight Cannibal, The Rhyzomes, Charley Farley Sunday Four, and Guildford Vox.
Acoustic Tent: Rokshan, Newrising, The Whittaker Brothers, Susie clarke, The Goldrush, Lindsay West, Byron Johnston, Laura Colegate, Tristan Seume, Rich Austin, and Anna Tabbush & The Odd Socks. Plus an open mic from noon offering poetry, comedy, music, until 2pm.
Pineapple Tribe Solar Bar: Dave The Hair, Jazz T, Domingues, Mr Fame, Funkwit, Basil + Lean, Freshold, Big Red, and Uncle Jimmy.
This shall be a smaller, more intimate affair comprising of three music areas, the healing field, a market, food stands, get involved in the arts zone plus plenty more including, of course, a bar.

This year the event links up with The Guildford Steet Fiesta, that will parade from the castle grounds onto shalford Park.
