  1. Album of the Year 2017

God why have you done this my OCD is killing me. Lol'd
  2. Tour Announcements & Upcoming Gigs

Last tour it was like that. My dad is going in Newcastle tomorrow or something and he was saying last night it's an 8:00-10:30 set for Queen with no support, which I think is what it was in 2014.
  3. Mad Cool 2018

I was thinking NIN could be the late act on the Saturday. Obviously not a dance act but an act that relies on darkness. Kasabian - Killers/Arcade Fire - Justice Snow Patrol - Pearl Jam - Massive Attack Jack Johnson - QOTSA - Depeche Mode - NIN
  4. Lineup 2018

Could sub. Think they'll headline Latitude and maybe sub R&L too.
  5. Latitude 2018

    Imagine thinking I'm going to.
  6. Latitude 2018

If they did I would certainly be suffering the wonderwhy.
  7. Lineup 2018

Enter Shikari weren't announced for Download the other day despite their UK tour being over. Reckon they'll be at R&L, either 3rd main or NME headline. NME headline opposite Kendrick would be perfect in terms of demographics and us not having to miss anyone remotely decent for the boy Kendrick.
  8. Benicassim (FIB) 2018

Arcade Fire announced for Hurricane/Southside in June. Guess they'll headline either Beni or Mad Cool.
  9. Lineup 2018

    Announced for Hurricane/Southside.
  10. Future Headliners

They probably are as big, yeah, but the point is they haven't been booked in forever so FR probably don't see them as an R&L band. Even at headline size I'd expect them to be booked for Latitude rather than R&L.
  11. Latitude 2018

So after the APE announcement leaving Latitude's headline options looking pretty thin on the ground, there's now Catfish/Gorillaz/The Cure/Arcade Fire/Massive Attack all looking entirely plausible. Maybe even Flo if she opts to do something more low-key before her album is out. Of course, at best we'd likely just get Catfish and 2 of the rest but they're all good options for Latitude.
  12. Radiohead Headlining 2017

    1. Nick Cave - O2 Arena 2. Arcade Fire - Sc**thorpe Baths Hall 3. Radiohead - Pyramid Stage 4. LCD Soundsystem - Warehouse Project 5. The National - Hammersmith Apollo
  13. Queens Of The Stone Age @ Finsbury Park

    Co-headlined R&L in 2014.
  14. Mad Cool 2018

Saw someone suggest Kasabian as a NOS Alive headliner earlier so even if they're not headlining Mad Cool they could be the final shared NOS headliner. That'd open up the final Mad Cool headline slot to someone who won't play NOS like The Killers or Arcade Fire.
  15. Lineup 2018

No they said bands who are headline/sub level don't play two years running.
  16. Lineup 2018

What does that have to do with bands playing two years in a row?
  17. Pearl Jam

See you at the tour next year old son.
  18. Lineup 2018

We're still talking about Foo Fighters and Arctic Monkeys here, right?
  19. All Points East Festival 2018

True but it could have just been that the guy hadn't heard about the final headliner for whatever reason. I get the logic tho and you could easily be right.
  20. All Points East Festival 2018

Gorillaz still have tickets to sell for their arena shows; makes perfect sense for them not to have been announced yet. Dunno why they'd save the best til last. They want to sell tickets and getting the announcements out when they can is in their best interests.
  21. All Points East Festival 2018

Gorillaz or Massive Attack for me, with the other being at Latitude.
  22. Lineup 2018

Don't they normally put on Snapchat that it's coming next week or something, then the next week warn us the day before or something? I say warn because we need warnings for how bad R&L announcements are now.
  23. 2019 festival

Too big. They'd sub or maybe even headline Download rather than do that and even if not they'd just do their own arena shows.
  24. TRNSMT Festival 2018

The undercard so far is worse than R&L's last year. One of the two TRNSMT headliners so far was on the R&L undercard, even.
