The dual location Reading & Leeds Festivals will return next year over the bank holiday weekend from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th August 2021, with two main outdoor stages and six headliners without any clashes - so you can see all six acts.

Headliners Stormzy, Liam Gallagher, Post Malone, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Disclosure, and Queens of the Stone Age will be joined by rock, indie, alternative, hip-hop, and dance artists including AJ Tracey, Doja Cat, Lewis Capaldi, Mabel, and Two Door Cinema Club, with more to be announced over the coming months.

Headlining on Main Stage East there's Stormzy (Reading: Friday / Leeds: Saturday), Liam Gallagher (Reading: Sunday, Leeds: Friday), and Post Malone (Reading: Saturday, Leeds: Sunday).

Headlining on Main Stage West there's Catfish & The Bottlemen (Reading: Friday, Leeds: Saturday), Disclosure (Reading: Saturday, Leeds: Sunday), and Queens of the Stone Age (Reading: Sunday, Leeds: Friday).

This is almost a return to the 1980s for Reading Festival, which back then had two main stages side by side with the audience switching between the stages for almost-constant live music - although until 1989* that was the only music stage (or two stages, depending how you viewed it).

Other acts across the weekend are London’s rap icon AJ Tracey, alt-rapper Ashnikko, indie phenomenon Beabadoobee, chart topping rapper DaBaby, Californian music star Doja Cat, rap rockers Fever 333, double BRIT Award winner and Grammy nominated Lewis Capaldi, Irish electro pop singer-songwriter Lyra, BRIT Award winner Mabel, rising US popstar Madison Beer, house DJ MK, electronic duo Sofi Tukker, Irish indie-pop favourites Two Door Cinema Club, and pop experimentalists 100 Gecs, with more to be announced over the coming months.

Melvin Benn, Managing Director of Festival Republic said: “After an absence of a year we are delighted to announce the 2021 return to Reading’s Richfield Avenue and Leeds’ Bramham Park in 2021 with our most epic plan yet. Two main stages, six headliners, the best line up of acts 2021 will see and 200,000 fans are going to celebrate the best music in the best music festivals in Britain.”
