first bands for Portsmouth's Victorious Festival 2019

As a Christmas teaser, the first bands have been revealed for next summer's Victorious Festival, which takes place on Southsea Seafront in Portsmouth, Hampshire from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th August 2019, the bank holiday weekend.

With all of the headliners to come, The Specials will play on the opening night, Saturday has singer songwriter James Bay, Swden's energetic garage rockers The Hives, and indie-rockers The Rifles, and on Sunday there's electro-classical fusion with Clean Bandit, and pop-rock with The Vaccines. There's much more to come.

Festival director Andy Marsh said: "We wanted to spread a little festive cheer by revealing just a smattering of what we've got in store for next year. It's already shaping up to be our best line-up up to date, we can't wait to announce the rest of it!"
