Further to last week's news with Emily Eavis, NME have been talking to Lady Gaga about whether she will be making an appearance at next year's Glastonbury Festival and Gaga – real name Stefani Germanotta replies in a manner which hints she may be ready to make a return appearance since her last visit in 2009.

NME report (here) that Lady Gaga responds to rumours saying: "Glaaaastonbury! I don't have permission to say anything about that."

NME reports that her tight-lipped response suggests that could be booked to appear and is sworn to secrecy until she's announced. Last week Emily Eavis did say that 90% of the line-up for the main stages was already in place. We will have to wait and see if she makes a return to the Festival where last time she graced the Other Stage and the late night Shangri-La area.

Gaga also tells the music paper that future tour dates were likely to return to her more extravagant ways, adding, "What I would say to those who are terrified that I’ll never again embrace absurdity or the avant-garde is ‘think again’. Because that is my favourite thing."

Friday headliners Radiohead are the first act to be confirmed for Glastonbury Festival 2017 which will take place at a farm in Pilton, Somerset over five full days on the last weekend in June, that's from Wednesday 21st to Sunday 25th June 2017.
