The Shins will play their first UK show in over four years and their only UK festival in 2016 at this year’s End Of The Road which happens at Larmer Tree Gardens,Tollard Royal, Salisbury, in Wiltshire from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th September 2016.

This will also be their first ever appearance at the festival. With a new album potentially in the pipeline, we are delighted to welcome James Mercer and his band of merry melancholy men to Larmer Tree Gardens for the first time. They will open the festival with a special Thursday night Woods Stage headline performance.

Also confirmed are Cat's Eyes, BC Camplight, The Blind Shake, Lucy Dacus, Futur Primitif, Feels, Julia Jacklin, LionLimb, Pinegrove, Fews, and Play End Of The Road competition winners Baywaves, and The Leaf Library.

Also recently announced was the comedy line-up featuring headliners Bridget Christie, and Josie Long, Stewart Lee, Arthur Smith, Bec Hill, Andy Zaltzman, John Finnemore, Hardeep Singh Kohli, Knightmare Live: The Festival Expansion Pack, Lolly Adefope, Adam Bloom, Pappy's, Bucket, Tom Bell, Stephen Carlin, Katie Mulgrew, Garrett Millerick, Joanna Neary, Lazy Susan, Sarah Bennetto, Hell To Play, Paul Flannery's MMORPG Show, The Storytellers Club, Political Animal, Tom Parry, Matthew Crosby, Paul Savage, Alexander Bennett, and Joe Hart. They join the previously announced headline comedian Stewart Lee.

Final tier tickets are now on sale at £195 including camping. Youth (ages 13-17 years who must be accompanied by an adult) tickets are priced at £150, tickets for children aged 6-12 years (must be accompanied by an adult) are priced at £75, and a ticket for children aged 3-5 years in priced at £45, with free entry for a child aged 2 years, and under, they still need tickets can be purchased in advance. Tickets for a campervan/caravan pass are priced at £80, and car parking is priced at £6.

End Of The Road will be allowing early entry to the festival on Thursday 1st September when camping and some parts of the festival site will be on Thursday afternoon. Festival goers can arrive, set up camp, spend the evening finding their way around and be ready to hit the festival when the entertainment starts on Friday.
