David Bowie has sadly passed away, after an 18 month battle with cancer, aged 69. The singer only just released his latest 'retrospective' album Blackstar on his birthday last Friday, 8th January.
Bowie leaves a huge influence on live, recorded, and popular music, and was able to remain a popular icon through re-inventing himself through six decades, in more recent years he performed live at Isle of Wight Rock Festival, MOVE, Meltdown, and Glastonbury Festival in 2000.
