EE are recalling all of its power bars

For those who have an EE charger, like those issued daily at this summer's Glastonbury Festival, EE are recalling all of their power bars due to fears a fault related to overheating could pose a fire risk.

If you have an EE power bar - a device which allows you to charge your smartphone on the go - the mobile phone firm is urging you to stop using it straight away, unplug it from the mains and hand it into an EE store.

You will be given a £20 voucher you can redeem against other EE accessories online if you are an eligible EE customer for the inconvenience of having to return the item that was originally given away free by the company.

The recall comes just four months after a partial recall of a single batch of the power bars. However, the company has now extended the recall to all of the devices in a bid to keep customers safe, as there is a small danger of them overheating.

One million power bars were requested by EE customers within just four days of the mobile network announcing in April that it would be offering them for free to customers of EE, Orange and T-Mobile customers.

Glastonbury Festival will take place on 2,000 acres around a farm in Pilton, Somerset over five full days from Wednesday 23rd until Sunday 27th June 2016. As ever, entry includes a free programme. Once again, the Festival will be raising more than £2 million in funds for Oxfam, Wateraid, Greenpeace and a host of local charities and causes.

Tickets for Glastonbury Festival have sold out. There will be a re-sale, which is likely to be in April or May 2016. In order to buy a ticket Festival goers over the age of 12 must be registered, with online registration only taking a few minutes, this needs to be completed before trying to buy a ticket. Children aged 12 and under do not require tickets and do not need to register.

Registration does not mean you have bought a ticket, but you can't buy a ticket without a registration number.
