This year's Bestival headliners '80s hitmakers Duran Duran have revealed they would like to make a Glastonbury Festival appearance one day but it won't be next year.

"If there's an offer, we'll think about doing it definitely," drummer Roger Taylor reveals in an interview with Digital Spy, (published here).

Bassist John Taylor then confirms, "Well it's not going to be next year."

The band who performed at Bestival earlier this year, say they are also getting used to how to pull off successful festival appearances. "It's still a new experience," John said. "When we had our reunion ten years ago, the festival business had come back in a big way. So we kind of had to learn it, and we're still learning it really. We developed our thing in arenas, so we're still figuring it out. But we're getting there."

Glastonbury Festival will take place on 2,000 acres around a farm in Pilton, Somerset over five full days from Wednesday 23rd until Sunday 27th June 2016. As ever, entry includes a free programme. Once again, the Festival will be raising more than £2 million in funds for Oxfam, Wateraid, Greenpeace and a host of local charities and causes.

There are no acts confirmed yet for 2016. Expect something like 2,000 performances at over 100 venues including music, cabaret, theatre, circus, a fantastic Kidz area, poetry, green crafts and information, site art, decor, and loads, loads more ... much more than just the music, so make sure you check it all out!
