Craig Charles, Quantic, and Mr Scruff lead the first acts to be announced for The Funk & Soul Weekender is a brand new festival held from Friday 13th until Sunday 15th May 2016 at Camber Sands Holiday Centre, in East Sussex.
They lead a line-up that includes Alice Russell, Huey Morgan, Dele Sosimi Afrobeat Orchestra, Norman Jay, Ibibio Sound Machine, DJ Yoda, Andrew Ashong, Renegade Brass Band, and Tru Thoughts Disco with Harleighblu, Wrong Tom, and J Felix.
Plus another 30 bands and over 40 DJs
Chalet accommodation is on sale at £99 per person on the link above from 11am on Friday 4th September and chalets must be purchased as a whole chalet at booking. Self Catering accommodation was available in 2-8 berth apartments and offers either double, single or bunk beds with private bathroom and TV, with kitchen.
Soundcrash has also stuffed the weekend with extras including, Live Band Karaoke, DJs, Brass Bands, Music Quiz’s, Northern Soul Dance Classes, South London Soul Train Stage, and Live Brass Band Soundtracked Crazy Golf Tournaments. Associated club nights and DJ’s from the countries finest Soul nights – including Hifi Club, Hipshaker, Soul 45, Hot Damn and many more.
