Carl Barat & The Jackals lead rock acts for Boardmasters

Carl Barat & The Jackals, Drenge, and Fat White Family lead the first rock acts announced for The Maverick Stage at Boardmasters which takes place from Wednesday 5th until Sunday 9th August at a cliff-top location overlooking Watergate Bay, and Fistral Beach in Cornwall.

Also confirmed are Toy, Bo Ningen, Kid Wave, Lost Dawn, Spring King, Vangoffey, Vant, Black Peaks, Jettblack, Ringo Franco, Axis Of, and John Coffey.

They join headliners Faithless, Rudimental, and Bastille are joined by Clean Bandit, De La Soul, Groove Armada (DJ set), Skream, Blonde, Fred V and Grafix, Fono, 99 Souls, Fickle Friends, Vaults, Astronomyy, Movie, Duke Dumont, Nick Mulvey, Lower Than Atlantis, Reef, Mnek, Sunset Sons, DJ Ez, The Darkness, Arrested Development, Catfish & The Bottlemen, Seasick Steve, Everything Everything, Roni Size Reprazent, Raleigh Ritchie, High Tyde, Rhodes, Seafret, Sundara Karma, The Academic,Tora, Rae Morris, Prides, Kim Churchill, Circa Waves, Eton Messy DJs, The Magician, Low Steppa, Monki, Waze & Odyssey, T.Williams, Apres, Disciples, Doorly, Grades, Illyus & Barrientos, Jax Jones, Just Kiddin, Lxury, Marquis Hawkes, SG Lewis, and Weiss.

The festival offers five days of surf competition at Fistral Beach and a weekend of live music on the stunning headland, Watergate Bay.

An adult weekend ticket for 4 days is priced at £109, and £119 with camping. A five day ticket with camping is priced at £139. Deposit option is available for 5 days camping securable at £38. A Friday, Saturday of Sunday day ticket is priced at £40. A day parking car pass is priced at £10. Children aged 10 years and under can attend free but require a ticket. VIP options are also available.

Also announced, is the bumper ticket package called the Charger ticket. It includes everything from bus pass to parking, VIP camping, Beach Session gigs, After Parties and a Boardmasters t-shirt and tote bag!

Beach Sessions tickets are priced separately, at £15 for either Wednesday or Thursday.
