Patti Smith & her band, Future Islands, Belle & Sebastian, Caribou, Flying Lotus, Florence + The Machine, Father John Misty, Little Simz, Future Brown, Alt-J, Emmylou Harris & Rodney Crowe, Foxygen, The Julie Ruin, Little Jinder, and The War on Drugs have been confirmed to appear at Way Out West which takes place in Gothenburg, Sweden from Thursday 13th until Saturday 15th August 2015.
The event hosts national and international acts at venues all over the city; rock clubs, nightclubs, churches, theatres and cultural centres are all used to showcase breaking and more established acts as part of the festivals club concept, Stay Out West.
The main festival takes place in the 137 hectare park of Slottsskogen in Gothenburg on the Friday and Saturday of the festival weekend. Other acts perform at various venues in and around central Gothenburg on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
Tickets are priced at 1940 SEK (approx £180) for a weekend ticket, and 1640 SEK for a teen (aged 13-17 years) ticket.
