The first acts have been announced for next year's South By Southwest in Austin, Texas in March 2015 and includes a number of UK names with the festival renowned for showcasing breaking and under-the-radar acts.

During the festival Austin's bars, clubs, pubs and streets become home to around 1,800 acts playing in around 70 venues, with talent from this side of the Atlantic including James Bay, Brolin, Carl Barat, Charlotte OC, Coasts, Dry The River (pictured), Fatherson, Happyness, Modestep, The Pop Group, Skinny Lister, The Big Pink, Hailey Tuck, The Twilight Sad, Jessie Ware, and Lewis Watson.

Other notable international names include Mini Mansions, Ibeyi, Angus & Julia Stone, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, The Dodos, Thee Oh Sees, Twin Peaks, Ben Kweller, Mew, Courtney Barnett, Twerps, Black Milk, MC Lars, Bishop Nehru, Alvvays, Pharmakon, Lust For Youth, Hey Marseilles, Moon Duo, Bomba Estereo, The Octopus Project, The Stone Foxes, Jonathan Toubin, Natural Child, The Lonely Wild, Civil Twilight, and Cheerleader.
