Beacons Festival which takes place from Friday 7th until Sunday 10th August 2014 at Funkirk Estate, Carleton, in North Yorkshire has added Erol Alkan, Joy Orbison, Charli XCX, Daphni, A Love from Outer Space: Andrew Weatherall & Sean Johnston, The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart, Rejjie Snow, Cate Le Bon, Metz, Fat White Family, Sleaford Mods, Submotion Orchestra, The Wytches, Joanna Gruesome, John Wizards, Speedy Ortiz, Adult Jazz, Womans Hour, Psychemagik, Slaves, Nai Harvest, Younghusband, Moko, Sivu, Naked (On Drugs), Eaves, and Nadine Carina.

They join Darkside, Daughter, Jon Hopkins, The Fall, Nightmares on Wax, Hookworms, Toy, King Creosote, East India Youth, Eagulls, Sweet Baboo, Melt Yourself Down, Money, Traams, PINS, Girl Band, Cheatahs, Menace Beach, Galaxians, Golden Teacher, Championlover, and Autobahn are the first acts to be announced. The first DJs are Dixon, Roman Flugel, Mano le Tough, Special Request, Daniel Avery, Max Graef, and Aartekt.

Weekend tickets are now priced at £99.50 + booking fee. Deposit tickets available for £25 up front cost. A young person (aged 13-17 years) ticket is priced at £75, a child (aged 7-12 years) ticket is priced at £15, and children under 7 years can attend free.
