'Babylon's Burning' hitmakers Ruts DC lead the first acts to be confirmed for North Yorkshire's fifth Willowman Festival.

Also part of the first announcement are Smoove & Turrell, Hope & Social, Smokey Bastard, Ian McNabb, and Bessie and the Zinc Buckets.

Returning to the Hillside Rural Activities Park, Knayton between Thirsk & Northallerton, in North Yorkshire. The family friendly event takes place over four days on the Summer Solstice weekend from Thursday 19th to Sunday 22nd June 2014.

Steve Williams organiser of the Willowman Festival commented, "This summer we will be organising our 5th Willowman festival, we attract a very mixed audience of families, groups of mates, locals and diehard festival goers. I think part of the attraction is the mixed bag of performers we have across our 4 stages, we are looking forward to the long sunny days of June and l am delighted on how the line-up is coming together."

The event held over the Summer Solstice weekend also offers many onsite activities for children, plus a whole host of robots, faeries, jugglers and stilt walkers adding to the laid back atmosphere.
