Chic featuring Nile Rodgers tops the latest acts heading for this year's Wickerman festival happening on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th July 2013.

On Friday Disco legends Chic, will deliver a crowd pleasing performance on the main Summerisle Stage. Fronted by prolific producer Nile Rodgers, who features on 'Get Lucky' currently topping the UK singles chart with Daft Punk, expect a mix of classics such as 'Everybody Dance', 'I Want Your Love', 'Good Times' and 'Le Freak’ alongside tracks from their new album.

Glasgow based five piece Admiral Fallow, electro-dub pioneers Dreadzone, and London trio Waylayers will join them on the The Summerisle bill with BBC Introducing's Ally McCrae reprising his role as compere.

DJ Greg Wilson will make his debut at Wickerman this year headlining the Skiddle Tent on Saturday night, with support from Wickerman regular Sonny Wharton, Ginny K, Kid Blast, Western Groove, Matt Hinde, Tim Forrester, and James Ryan.

The open air Vinyl Frontier Outdoor Stage is back for 2013 with extended opening hours from 2.00 pm until 2.00 am. Funkademia DJs Good For The Soul, Dave Dunne, Kid Blast head things up on the Friday day time with Insomnia DJs Mark Swider, Luke Stanger, Filter Script, and Andrew Dent playing into the early hours. Funkademia return on Saturday and will be joined by Sonny Wharton and friends from Beats of Rage who will close the stage on Saturday.

Festival Coordinator Helen Chalmers said, "Chic featuring Niles Rodgers are incredible live performers and who doesn’t love a bit of disco? Add to that Admiral Fallow, Dreadzone, Greg Wilson, Waylayers, some familiar faces in Bass Camp, the acts already announced and those yet to come, the party this year is going to be tremendous."

As always, the weekend festivities will be brought to a spectacular close with the crowd-gathering tradition of burning the 40ft Wickerman statue at midnight on Saturday.

Ticket prices are £95 for Weekend adult tickets, £47.50 for Weekend concession tickets, £65 for Saturday adult tickets with tickets free for under 12's. For all those taking caravans or campervans to Wickerman a basic pitch is priced at £40 or £90 for a pitch including an electric hook up.

Everyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult and bring proof of age - anyone without proof of ID will be liable to pay the full adult ticket price at the gate. We also recommend anyone who looks under 21 to bring ID with them. The ages shown on the tickets refer to the age of the child/concession on the day of the festival (not the age at time of purchase).
