first acts announced for The Big Feastival

KT Tunstall, The Feeling, foodies and more at Alex James' farm

KT Tunstall, and The Feeling top the first announcement for The Big Feastival the two day family friendly event combining food and live music presented by Jamie Oliver. Returning this year to Alex James' farm in Chipping Norton, on Saturday 31st August and Sunday 1st September 2013.

The musical treats also include Rizzle Kicks, Basement Jaxx, Norman Jay, and The Cuban Brothers. Whilst the culinary line-up joining Jamie Oliver in the Big Kitchen includes Gennaro Contaldo, Bruno Loubet, Valentine Warner and Mark Sargeant, Sabrina Ghayour, Gizzi Erskine and other special guests.

The family programme of activities in the Little Dude's Den will include welly wanging, bubble shows, cooking classes to craft workshops, plus farmer Adam Henson and his Cotswold Farm Park come to the feastival for the first time!

There's still more for the tasty menu of music acts, top chef talent, new foodie features, and The Big Top headliners still to be announced.

The Big Feastival will be raising funds for Jamie Oliver's Better Food Foundation to help change the lives of disadvantaged young people. Think village fete with a music festival vibe, the event offers a weekend out for the entire family.

Standard teen (12-17 years) day ticket: £30

Tickets for The Big Feastival will go on sale at 9am on Thursday 21st March, and eFestivals will have links to buy them then.
