Richard Hawley, Levellers, and Labrinth will headline the 'Around the World' themed Camp Bestival 2013 which offers a wealth of entertainment alongside the music from Thursday 1st to Sunday 4th August, at the picturesque setting of Lulworth Castle, set against the backdrop of the Jurassic coastline in Dorset.

Richard Hawley heads up Friday night's entertainment and Labrinth headlines Sunday night's finale with Brightonian folk rock legends Levellers topping the bill on Saturday. They commented, "We never thought of ourselves as camp but we know we're going to fit right in at Camp Bestival because we just love to dress up as women and play campfire anthems!"

Also providing the aural action across the weekend are DJ Fresh, Toots and the Maytals, Gabrielle Aplin, The Polyphonic Spree who will be performing a Rocky Horror Show set, Tom Odell, Kid Creole and the Coconuts, I Am Kloot, Billy Bragg, Dan le Sac vs Scroobius Pip, The Cuban Brothers, DJ Yoda live AV show feat. The Tootsie Rollers, John Cooper Clarke, Lissie, The Farm, Musical Youth, Beardyman, The Correspondents, The Wurzels, Mad Professor, Clean Bandit, London Grammar, Mikill Pane, The 1975, Fleetwood Bac, Introducing recreate 'Discovery' Live - A Daft Undertaking, Howard Marks, Lucky Elephant, Sexy Sushi, Ben Waters, Moulettes, Filthy Boy, Fake Bush, Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer, Lewis Watson, Jaws, Jaipur Brass Band, Kawa Circus, The J-Cats, and Folk Idol is back with 'Folk From Around The World'. Plus Camp Bestival will also be hosting a Dorset Bands Day on the band stand and are on the lookout for Dorset's finest groups.

Whilst joining host Rob da Bank on the wheels of steel over the weekend will be Grandmaster Flash, Sasha, David Rodigan's Ram Jam, A Love from Outer Space :Andrew Weatherall & Sean Johnston, Fabio & Grooverider, Jon More, Barry Ashworth, John Kennedy, Balearic Brothers, Feeling Gloomy, Tythe, DJ Coley, and Sombrero Sound System.

Rob da Bank says, "Hip-hip hooray! Here we are reaching our 6th birthday. Crack out the jelly and ice cream, unroll the Twister board and cover me in sticky pop if I'm not more excited than ever to be announcing our all ages extravaganza once more. As ever it's a veritable smorgasbord of talent. Music-wise people are always asking for more guitars so we have Richard Hawley, Levellers and Billy Bragg, pop and dance is represented by heavyweights Labrinth and DJ Fresh and we're mega chuffed rising stars Gabrielle Aplin and Tom Odell have chosen to come to the Camp. Throw in some legends like Toots and The Maytals, Musical Youth and Kid Creole and we're pretty confident everyone will be dancing on the grass!

As Rob says there's also comedy from Alan Davies. Camp Bestival is not just about the music, there's a whole world of fun with Over 100 Free Things for Kids to Do including arts, shows, workshops, funfair and so much more. New and fabulous attractions for 2013 include Horrible Histories performing 'Barmy Britain' as a festival exclusive. There will be appearances from regulars Justin Fletcher aka Mr Tumble, and the company of West End hit show 'Let It Be' will be performing a selection of The Beatles' greatest hits on the Castle Stage.

Commenting on their exclusive appearance, the Horrible Histories team said "Beware all children, heads are going to roll! We can't wait to come to loathsome Lulworth when you'll find out just what a gruesome bunch us Barmy Brits can be!"

The Big Top will host The BRIT School who will be premiering a brand new festival exclusive dance theatre performance, inspired by the Around the World theme plus the Black Eagles Circus and The Royal Albert Hall Ginornmous Percussion Orchestra.

Beatboxer Shlomo brings his Beatbox Adventure for Kids, also there will be London Lucumi Choir an Afro-Cuban community choir, Cando2 a youth dance performance company featuring disabled and non-disabled dancers aged 14-25. The Roundhouse return with a new theatre show, called 'Gloria and the Explorers' whilst Little Sunshine and Little Rainfall invite festival goers to their magic garden for a Japanese musical theatre show.

The Camp Bestival Panto returns this year with 'Alice in Wonderland' and so does the incredible Insect Circus, alongside a new addition to Camp Bestival, a Dance Space, where for the first time ever at any festival, the UK's leading contemporary dance companies and schools, including contemporary dance/theatre touring company, Matthew Bourne's New Adventures, Trinity Laban, Candoco, and the BRIT School so festival goers can learn how dance can be creative, expressive and rewarding, and learn a few moves.

The year The Dingly Dell has been transformed with new attractions in the day, with nature, craft and wilderness skills workshops and at night when the woods come alive with fire and sculptural creations from Mechanical Menagerie, fantastical tales by Gideon Reeling, and dancing shadow puppets.

The site will also host Young British Foodies tent, a Kids Disco in Bollywood every day, workshops from the Tate, BFI Film Club, Freestyle Sports Park, Four Corners Treasure Trail, Lost & Found hosting '80 Games Around the World' and the Junior Binocular Football World Cup Championship, Morris Dancing, Jousting, Maypole dancing, and Bigtopmania Kids Theatre and Circus..

Camp Bestival is all about bringing back the British Holiday Camp... Bestival style! A place where Hi de Hi camping capers meet the spirit of early festivals and as well as entertainment, comedy, and literature. There will be a full programme music over multiple stages, plus other entertainment including comedy, arts & crafts, spoken word, dance, and more.

Camp Bestival are offering a new 20 week payment plan for Friday entry weekend tickets priced at £9 a week, or £9.50 for Thursday entry weekend ticket.

An adult weekend ticket with camping is priced at £180 or £190 if camping from Thursday, a weekend with camping child ticket for those aged 15 to 17 years (on 01/08/2013) is priced at £113 with camping on Thursday. A weekend with camping child ticket for those children aged 11 to 14 years (on 01/08/2013) is priced at £98.

All teens (aged 11 to 17) MUST camp in the same area as their families with a maximum of 2 teens per adult (over the age of 30). All children aged under-11 years (on 01/08/2013) can attend for free (but MUST HAVE a ticket). These ticket holders must be accompanied by a Ticket holding parent or guardian over the age of 21.

An advance car parking pass is priced £11 per car (or £15 cash on arrival), and campervan ticket is £72 per vehicle.

Spread across the Castle Field, Kids Garden, Big Top, Bollywood, Black Dahlia, East Lulworth Literary Institute, the festival offers family entertainment, sideshow attractions and more. There's a huge Kids Area filled with things to keep little ones of all ages entertained all day long. Plus Lulworth Castle has its very own Animal Farm where the kids can get up close to their super-friendly animals.
