Promoters have confirmed she has also pulled out of Electric Picnic due to exhaustion."

Organisers are also advising Picnickers packing their bags to include sunscreen as temperatures are set to soar this weekend, Friday 31st August to Sunday 2nd September. While temperatures are set to have picnickers sweltering, festival goers are also advised to pack for all weather conditions.

Organisers recommend that where possible people use public transport or car pool to help reduce road congestions and carbon emissions. Gates open at 9am on Friday. Bus Eireann's special coach services from Dublin, Cork and Galway can be booked online here.

Inspector Harrington of Portlaoise Gardai advises drivers "Turn off your sat-nav and follow the Gardai signage and directions of the Gardai on Point duty , this will ensure easy and safe access to the site. Give yourself plenty of time for the journey as there will be a certain amount of traffic delay."
