British Sea Power, Pulled Apart By Horses, and Dinosaur Pile Up top the third line-up announcement for Y-Not Festival, which takes place from Friday 3rd until Sunday 5th August 2012 near Matlock in Derbyshire.

Pulled Apart By Horses are Saturday night's Quarry headliner, with Little Comets, Slow Club, The Cast of Cheers, Sound Of Guns, Fixers, Proxies, Phantom Limb, Skinny Lister, The Good Natured, Young Aviators, and ME also confirmed.

Confirmed for the rock 'Giant Squid' stage are Saturday night headliner Dinosaur Pile Up, Canterbury, Straight Lines, Exit Ten, Delta/Alaska, Juniors, Alright the Captain, Scutty Neighbours, Without Maps, Trillionaires, The Hush, Bleech, and Troops of Mafeking.

They join the previously announced Saturday night headliner The Wombats, as well as The Pigeon Detectives, The Subways, Summer Camp, Jim Lockey, Juan Zelada, Boat To Row, Naymedici, Masters in France, and Son Of Eagle. There is still a headliner, and more acts to be confirmed, expect around 80 acts in total.

The festival, now in its seventh year, has a capacity of 5,000 people, and aside from the music on three stages, and is a showcase for all that is fresh and exciting in global music. From emerging talent and breaking bands to established acts. The festival attempts to have an intimate nature, with many of the bands camping with festival goers, and friendly stewards. Late night entertainment includes a dance tent, and camp fire singalongs.

This year's improvements include a new stage, a bigger line-up, a new arena, more stalls, more food, more to do onsite, improved camping facilities, with site access on Thursday possible for the first 2,000 at £9 per ticket.
