We Are Scientists, The View, & more for Kendal Calling

More acts have been confirmedfor Kendal Calling, which takes place from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th July, at Lowther Deer Park, Hackthorpe, in East Cumbria.

The newly announced acts are We Are Scientists, The View, Tribes, Spector, DJ Yoda & The Transiberian Marching Band, Ryan Keen , Ghostpoet, Juan Zelada, Lucy Rose, Rae Morris, Pete Roe, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, King Charles, Jack Martello, Spring Offensive, Jake Evans, Extra Curricular, Beans on Toast, Random Impulse, Wonder Villains, Toy, Swiss Lips, Anothers Blood, Steve Smyth, Hyde & Beast, Max Raptor, Police Dog Hogan, and Mono Lps.

Also announced are dance acts Toddla T, Mosca, Jaymo & Andy George, and D/R/U/G/S.

Friday night will be headed up by Maximo Park, Saturday night will see the return to Kendal Calling of Dizzee Rascal, and Sunday night will be closed by James.

Now in its seventh year, the wholly independent Kendal Calling is held in the Lake District, over the weekend of Friday 27th to Sunday 29th July, with early entry available on Thursday. Kendal Calling returns to the Lowther Deer Park, Hackthorpe, in East Cumbria, and offers eleven diverse stages and areas, situated in a close-knit site. The family friendly event offers 3 days of dancing, juggling, contortionists, comedy, site art and much more. Plus posh camping options in the revamped Emperors Fields.

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £105, a child (11-14 years) weekend ticket were priced at £50, and children under 11 can attend for free, but needed a ticket. Anyone under 17 must be accompanied by an adult.

Thursday early bird tickets are priced at £10 (only valid with a full weekend ticket).

Traditional festival camping is at no extra cost and included in ticket price. There is also the new and improved Emperors Fields an all quiet camping and ideal for families. To stay here is an additional £25 per adult, a child (11-14 years) is £12.50 per person, and children under 11 can attend for free. Campervan or Caravan fields are £50 per vehicle pass in Emperors Fields area, which includes two adults. Any additional adults or children will need an Emperors Fields ticket per person.
