Also announced is the Two For Joy Music, The Green Note and Owlsworld presented folk stage 'The Lordship'. Camden's The Green Note host folk, blues, roots, Americana and world music. Two For Joy Music, hatched in The Magpie's Nest and Cut A Shine Hoedown Collective, Owlsworld work closely with a host of national and international touring folk and roots bands, from bluegrass to blues.
Standon Calling returns this summer to the grounds of a 16th Century Hertfordshire manor house from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th August 2012 and are taking it back to the old school by opening on Friday night with a rave! There are no acts confirmed yet for 2012, expect a line-up of well known acts, diverse entertainment and DJs.
There are numerous stages and the odd unexpected stage appearing from nowhere. The festival boasts a number of bars, one of which is hewn out of an enormous oak tree, secret areas, interactive theatre, swimming pool (with underwater dance area), boutique camping (beach huts, yurts and tipis), kids area, and festival food.
Adult weekend tickets with camping are priced at £99, children aged 12 and under can go free. Car parking tickets are priced at £6. Campervan tickets are priced at £40. To buy tickets click here
