Razorlight have been announced as the headliners of Crooked Ways the one day music festival to be held inside Pontefract, West Yorkshire on Saturday 26th May 2012.

Razorlight
Scott Ward, Crooked Ways Marketing Director, commented "We are all thrilled to have Razorlight headline the inaugural Crooked Ways. We're all music fans and have been involved with bands and concerts for a number of years so we thought it was important not just to book someone with a reputation as a great live band, but someone we all genuinely liked as well. Having a band like Razorlight play in our town is a huge thing for us."

Razorlight added, We're really looking forward to Crooked Ways. By May we'll have been in the studio for weeks recording the new album so we'll be really excited to be outside playing a big show. It's what we do best. Should be a great day."

Crooked Ways is an independent music festival, named in homage to an early 20th Century book which satirises life in Pontefract. The festival is expecting 14,000 visitors through its gates and will be held in Pontefract Park in the shadow of the town's famous racecourse on 26th May 2012.

No other acts have been announced. Crooked Ways will feature renowned acts, as well as up and coming acts from around the UK. These acts will play across an open faced main stage, a tented second stage with a Crooked Ways Presents stage featuring the best local talent.
