Crooked Ways is a one day music festival to be held in Pontefract inside Pontefract Park, on Saturday 26th May 2012. Crooked Ways will feature renowned acts, as well as up and coming acts from around the UK. These acts will play across an open faced main stage, a tented second stage with a Crooked Ways Presents stage featuring the best local talent.

Line-up

Main Stage: Razorlight, Reverend and the Makers, King Charles, Hyde & Beast, Skint & Demoralised, The Bishops, Feral Brood and local competition winner All We Know.

The Institution: Sunshine Underground, The Whip, The Blood Arm, Wet Nuns, Chris Helme, Club Smith, Redwire, Nice Sharp Pencils and Daniel Sheehy.

Crooked Ways Presents Stage: Arithmia, Awooga, Cor Amor, Daisy Cutter, Fourth Time Believers, Glass Caves, Jacks Attic, Kate Douglas, Lee Tappin (Ex-New Delamores), Penguin, Piskie Sits, Road to Horizon, Route 19, The Air Was Thick.

The festival site will be in an enclosed space inside the Pontefract Racecourse track with a variety of excellent food available throughout the day. Two on site bars provided by local hipster venue, The Loft, will be within arms reach so attendees can enjoy a nice tipple whilst watching the bands.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
