The line-up of guest DJs will also include Danny Krivit, Kenny Dope, Kerri Chandler, Tony Humphries, Julio Bashmore, and Derrick Carter (disco set).
Also appearing will be Karizma, Joey Negro, Jazzy Jeff, David Rodigan, Fabio & Grooverider, Al Kent, Norman Jay, Gilles Peterson, Mr Scruff, and Greg Wilson.
This is the earliest point in years that even part of the line-up has been revealed. Without announcing a single act all 6000 places for the 25th anniversary event have already SOLD OUT.
It is 25 years since the first event and in the quarter century that has passed, Southport Weekender has become a globally recognised club brand with spin off festivals in Croatia and a successful compilation series to its name. The event moved to its new home in Minehead in 2011, slightly increasing its capacity but maintaining its friendly vibe.
The new Minehead site offers five separate dance arenas covering soul, hip hop, vocal and deep house, r n' b, disco, techno and more.
The line-up is far from complete, expect many more DJs to be added to the line-up after Christmas, along with the first named live acts to appear at Butlins Holiday Resort in Minehead, Somerset from Friday 11th until Sunday 13th May 2012.
