Geno Washington, The Selecter, and The Chameleons top the first confirmed acts for this year's Strummercamp.

The first acts to be announced for this year's Strummercamp taking place from Friday 27th until Sunday 29th May are Geno Washington, The Selecter, The Chameleons, The Popes, Captain Sensible, Mik Artistik, Rebel Truce, Rasta4Eyes, Black Cat Trio, and JackieO.

Strummercamp is organised by friends of the late Joe Strummer, and is intended to be a celebration and tribute run on a not-for-profit basis. This year's festival takes place at Manchester Rugby Club, Cheadle Hulme, Cheshire.

Festival goers can expect a cinema, comedy, poetry, all day bar/food, toilets and disabled toilet facilities, and all the usual festival facilities.

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £65, a child weekend ticket is priced at £20 for children under 14 accompanied by an adult ticket holder, an adult day ticket for either Saturday or Sunday is priced at £37.50. To buy tickets, click here.
