Rolo Tomassi, Tinchy Stryder, and Gallows are amongst the latest acts announced for Tramlines festival happening from Friday 23rd until Sunday 25th July 2010 at various venues throughout Sheffield.

Rolo Tomassi
The FREE event has announced that Sunday's New Music Stage will be curated by local rock outfit Rolo Tomassi who have always been firm supporters of the festival. Kate Hewett, Tramlines Booker said, "Rolo agreed to play the festival ages ago and we promised them that if we could expand the New Music Stage to two days, the second would be theirs. We've literally only just confirmed Sunday but Rolo have done us proud. Headlining the New Music Stage on Sunday will be Gallows, supported by Rolo, Grammatics and much more. It's been a rush, but it gives Sunday a real boost and is a crucial step in building the weekend programme."

Gallows, and Grammatics are joined on the line-up at Tramlines by Tinchy Stryder, Professor Green, I Monster, Animat, The Cinematic Film Orchestra, The Horn The Hunt, 65daysofstatic, Skepta, Daisy Dares You, Olly Murs, Focus, Pulled Apart By Horses, Skeletons & the Empty Pockets, Boy on a Dolphin, Pistola Kicks, Is Tropical, Tango in the Attic, Three Trapped Tigers, Party Horse, Exit Calm, The Twilight Sad, The Ray Summers, and more.

In total more than 250 acts across four stages and 50 city centre venues for this the second year of the event. Sheffield's free urban music festival expects over 50,000 revellers. This year the Main Stage on Devonshire Green has been expanded to host 8,000, and there's some new additions including a New Music Stage on Tudor Square and a new Youth Music Festival.

The festival extends across the entire city to showcase every aspect of Sheffield's music community and includes a Youth Music Festival, Blues trail and a Ceilidh.
