The Horrors have been announced as headliners for this year's Lounge on the Farm.

The Horrors will be headlining the Friday night Cow Shed Slot at the Merton Farm festival, in Kent. The garage rockers will be playing the festival after releasing hotly tipped second album Primary Colours.

Festival organiser Matt Gough said, "The Horrors are defiantly one of the most exciting live bands I've seen in years. They will undoubtedly be one of the main highlights this year!"

The five thousand capacity festival, features six stages with over 160 bands playing over three days including Edwyn Collins, The Aliens, Dub Pistols & Bent, Portico Quartet, The King Blues, Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip, The Ghost Of A Thousand, Cage The Elephant, It Hugs Back, The XX, Chris T-T, and loads more. Tickets are priced at £85 for an adult weekend ticket, children tickets aged 6-15 are priced at £45, family tickets allow entrance of 2 x adults and 2 x kids aged 6 - 15 are priced at £180. The full price tickets for 2009 will be £85 (Adult Weekend), £180 (Family Weekend), and £45 (Child Weekend). Kids aged 5 or under go for a nominal fee of £1.
