Noah and the Whale, Patrick Wolf, Brakes, and many more have been added to the bill for the fourth The Great Escape.

Joining them will be Juliette Lewis with her new band Juliette And The New Romantiques, Metric, Hockey, Sky Larkin, Hatcham Social, Peggy Sue, Rosie & the Goldbug, and We Have Band.

Other bands confirmed to appear in Brighton include Baddies, Broken Records, I Blame Coco, Marnie Stern, Soap & Skin, Sad Day for Puppets, Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson, The Phantom Band, Times New Viking, Mechanical Bride, Roses Kings Castles, Charlie ASH, 80z Kidz, Gable, De De Mouse, TV Off, and Planet Earth.

There will also be live sets from Dag for Dag, Hoodlums, Panama Kings, The Balky Mule, Alan Pownall, Turbowolf, Jakko and Jay, Dan Mangan, The Males, Mothlite, Bang Bang Eche, Slow Club, Video Nasties, Giantess, Solid Gold, The Kilimanjaro DarkJazz Ensemble, Shining, and The Bewitched Hands On Top Of Our Heads.

There are already many acts confirmed for this years line-up which will see 34 venues play host to over 300 bandsincluding Kasabian as headliners, Lightspeed Champion, Little Boots, Black Lips, Metronomy, Kissy Sell Out, Future Of The Left, The Big Pink, Passion Pit, Micachu And The Shapes, It Hugs Back, Esser, VV Brown, Ben Kweller, Dananananaykroyd, Let's Wrestle, The Chapman Family, Your Twenties, Golden Silvers, and Bell X1. With many more acts to be announced this is just some of the hundreds of international and UK pop, cutting edge, hip hop, electronic, and rock acts showcased at venues all over Brighton from Thursday 14th until Saturday 16th May.
