A limited number of 'gold-dust tickets' for T in the Park 2009 at Balado, Scotland on Friday 10th to Sunday 12th July at 2008's prices went on sale today. These tickets were being offered as a gift idea for Christmas, and all ticket purchasers will receive an exclusively designed T in the Park Christmas card when they ordered the tickets.

The ticket were priced as follows: Saturday and Sunday combined tickets are priced at £137, a weekend camping (including Friday arena access) ticket is priced at £160, car park tickets which must be bought in advance are priced at £17.50, and a Thursday camping upgrade is priced at £10.

They have now sold out.

Expect over 180 acts to play over the weekend from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th July 2009, although no acts are yet confirmed.

There was a rumour that AC/DC would be playing T in the Park, however they are definitely NOT playing. Geoff Ellis of DF Concerts said, "I can confirm that AC/DC will not be playing at T in the Park 2009. We do not want AC/DC fans to buy a ticket for T in the Park under false pretences as this would not only disappoint them, but also the many people desperate to get their hands on a T in the Park ticket regardless of the headliner."
