The Isle of Wight Festival, which takes place at Seaclose Park, Newport, Isle of Wight from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th June 2008 has announced more acts.

Newly confirmed for the Friday are Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong, and The Answer, joining headliners Kaiser Chiefs, along with N.E.R.D, KT Tunstall, and The Hoosiers.

New for Saturday are Amy MacDonald, One Night Only, and Black Stone Cherry, lining up with headliners the Sex Pistols, plus Ian Brown, Iggy And The Stooges, The Zutons, The Enemy, Kate Nash, a local bands still to be confirmed opening proceedings, and one act to be confirmed playing before Kate Nash.

And for Sunday there's Starsailor, Newton Faulkner, Delays, a local bands still to be confirmed opening the day, with headliners The Police, plus The Kooks, Lily Allen, James, and Scouting For Girls.
