not last chance for Glastonbury registrations

Michael gives five days grace!

By Neil Greenway | Published:

Midnight tonight was the deadline for registrations to be able to buy Glastonbury tickets this year - but Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis has said that a strict cut-off 'isn't very Glastonbury', so the registration process has been extended for five days until midnight on Monday 5th March.

The registration process was introduced as a way to stop the touting of tickets for ridiculous money - each ticket this year will have the buyers photo printed on it. Around 300,000 registrations have already been made for the 135,000 tickets that should (subject to licence) be available. Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Sunday 1st April.

Registration can be done online from http://www.glastonburyregistration.co.uk/, or via normal post by either downloading the form from here, or by collecting the form at your local branch of Millets (who will donate 10p to WaterAid for every form they issue).

You can register at any time between now and midnight on Monday 5th March. For details on the registration process click here.

Glastonbury Festival will take place at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th June (with the gates opening on the Wednesday).
