The University of Bath is to give Glastonbury Festival organiser Michael Eavis and honorary doctorate.
He's to be awarded a Doctor of Arts degree on December 13, for his services to the arts at a ceremony at the Assembly Rooms in Bath.
The festival now attracts up to 150,000 people each year, and gives a large proportion of its profits to good causes including Oxfam, Greenpeace and WaterAid.
A University spokesman said: "We will be delighted to award Mr Eavis an honorary doctorate. His contribution to the arts, by giving millions of people the chance to see the best of rock music live on stage, has been very important."
