Glastonbury license re-submission within two weeks

"very hopeful of getting a license"

By Neil Greenway | Published:

Glastonbury Festival organisers expect to submit their amended Public Entertainments License application before or on 17th December. The license hearing is then expected to take place before the Reglatory Board of Mendip District Council in the 3rd week of January 2002.

The organisers have told us that they are currently working very closely with both the police and the council on the application, and are "very hopeful" of satisfying their concerns and having the license granted.
