  1. Sadly one of the most boring live acts this side of Interpol.

I could see standing stone still because youre playing technically-complex stuff, but their songs tend to have fewer chords than they have band members.

    Been let down every time.

  2. Heart. Broken. MUCH

    Favourite songs:

    Acrylic Afternoons

    TV Movie

    My Lighthouse

    The Birds in your Garden

    Babies

    Bar Italia

    Like a Friend

    Your Sister's Clothes

    Little Girl (With Blue Eyes)

    I'm a Man

    F.E.E.L.I.N.G.C.A.L.L.E.D.L.O.V.E.

    Pink Glove

    O.U. (gone, gone)

    Cocaine Socialism

    Underwear

    Mile End

Do You Remember the First Time?

    Sad as.

  3. How big are Pulp over there?

In America its hard to gauge since they never really took off here unfortunately, save for a few of us Cocker-faithful.

ARE they known enough to headline? (I hope so)

  4. Actually, one thing that I am worried about as I am an American that's never been fortunate enough to be outside the country before: what are people's general opinions of us nowadays?

Im a funloving, very liberal type that is aware that most of my countrymen that have been able to afford to travel abroad might not have left the rest of the world with the best impression of us. Sorry about that.

Should I just tell peeps Im from Canada? ;)

  5. So here's some shots I got a few nights ago of their headling set at San Francisco's Treasure Island Music Festival.

It was an awesome time, altho I wish there would have been more Embryonic (but it being a festival set, I get that)

I love the new show (I wont spoil how they arrive on stage) which seems to play on many of the strengths of past shows theyve done.

It's a big, bright, colorful multimedia singalong good time. Scoff if you must, but we had an incredible time.

  6. I have to try this mythical stuff next year.

I just tried Strongbow for the first time a week ago at a British-style pub here (run by actual Brits) and it was pretty rad.

I spent the first 10 minutes complaining about how there must not be much alcohol in it before realizing that I was already halfway to hammered.

  7. When I got the DVD and saw that he co-commentaried with the director, I was like "huh?"

Obvs Glasto DOES mean a lot to him.

Let's hope that that personal desire makes this happen.
