    My mate's depression has flared up again so hes not going this year and im still deciding whether to go solo or give it a miss. I know i'll love it and have done many festivals on my own, but something is stopping me pulling the trigger and i dont know what

Came on in Slipknot masks and ripped into Millionaire 🖤 In my all time top 5 gigs. 

    I was at that one too. Its one of those that was so intense and good at the time that i can hardly remember the details.

    Exactly the same for me I only know Nancy Boy which they didn't play, but had a great time.

    One of the standout suprises for me over the weekend was Billy Nomates. I only knew a few tracks from her album but loved her performance on Sunday afternoon. So much energy from one person on a huge stage.

    Thanks ive borrowed a mates car so should be fine, although slightly terrified as it a brand new Merc worth more than 50 times more than my old jalopy🙂

    Bit of a nightmare so far, left Bournemouth at 08.30, broke down at about 10.00, had to join AA they turnrd up at 12.00 but couldnt fix it so had to upgrade to recovery member and unfortunately as i was not an existing member they charge £4.00 a mile after the first 15 and i was about 80 miles from home. Now back in Bournemouth and borrowing a mates car and driving up first thing tomorrow about £500 lighter before any repairs needed on the car☹

    First gig for 18 months and first proper sit down gig for god knows howlong. Dont ask me for a setlist as ive no idea, but obviously mostly Carnage with  a few Bad Seeds tunes, one from Grinderman and a bit of a T. Rex cover.

    Nick resplendent in shiny slipons, dark grey slacks and a moss green blazer. Warren sat playing his synth on his lap, Johnny Hostile on everything else and 3 great backing singers

    Came on at 8.10 and played for 2 hours inc 2 encors v.respectful crowd where i was, listening in total silence right to the end of each song, but heartfelt standing ovations at the end.

    A few first night nerves and mishaps, but an extraordinary show which will only get better

    There's four of us, just couldn't justify an extra £120. Very excited to have the date in the diary.

    I know what you mean. Im flying solo so it was only an extra £30.00 and it will be my first gig for nearly 18 months so thought id go for it.

    Was going to go for the midrange and then just suddenly realised that I've spent next to nothing on gig tickets for two years and this is a special gig and it's been a fucker of a year so, yeah... time to treat myself!
