Thank f**k. No Bon Jovi.
Jon Bon Jovi, speaking yesterday: "I've heard Glastonbury mentioned in passing, and it's something we'd like to do. We'll be too busy with our O2 shows next year, but we're looking at 2011. I'm not sure if it'll be Glastonbury or " (another festival).
Another bad rumour put to bed.

Last years site plan has 2 areas of crew/performers camping outside of the fence, one in Spring Field at the north east corner and the other on the south east corner near the railway track

Sorry, slightly off topic but did anyone else hear the Madavale session version of Ebeneezer Goode on Radio 1 this afternoon?

My mates and I have booked a hotel for the Tuesday night about 30 miles from Worthy Farm after hearing about last years traffic problems.
I'm looking forward to hitting the stone circle and watching the site fill up, drink in hand on the Wednesday

it was bad enough when Richard Whitely died whilst G was happening a few years back. I'm still coming to terms with Diana. sob.

They can be really hit and miss live, I've seen some completely breath taking performances and then some utter gash ones by them
Best was Glasgow Green in 2003, might have something to do with the 'support' though, Electric Six, QOTSA and Foo Fighters
-
actually I'd go as far to say theyre one of the best live performances I've ever seen
-
I saw them at Newcastle Academy a couple of weeks ago and they were fantastic but with them headlining the OS this year I cant see them playing next year
-
Coldplay are ridiculously amazing live, saw them at the end of lasty month methinks, i would love to see them again, if madonna plays i shall be found on the other end of the site

I was like you ie eat whatever and still be thin until I was about 28 then my metabolism changed and I suddenly found the beer and other high calorie foods like cake slowly began to make a mark on my waistline...
You may be lucky but I reckon your time will come eventually (if you don't exercise regularly and live a sendentary lifestyle). Enjoy your good fortune while it lasts

Ok so Sasha has played before but have him and Digweed played together?
A Northern Exposure reunion would be sweet I reckon

As a Teessider I am naturally suspicious of anyone who wishes to ‘get fit’ or be ‘healthy’
I’m currently in training to become stereotypical fat northern git. Pies, pints and pizzas, pasties and parmos are being consumed daily and for a bit of variation I go for crisps

I'd have gone to see Ash if they'd have done a gig a bit closer to where I live but the nearest were Bradford/Wakefield or Carlisle and I dont do Carlisle for personal reasons
