It reminded me very much of 1984. Very cool

My sister raved on about them for ages before I went so I thought I'd check them out, and wow they're brilliant!
I loved the set and the cover of Dancing In The Dark! What did everyone else think?

Met a wonderful girl while watching Neil Young, she shot off to the loo with a friend and Neil's set finished before she had the chance to come back, I thought all was lost..
The next night, standing in the same place for Bruce Springsteen her and her friends turned up again! However I was with another lot friends and didn't get to speak to her at all, save a few fleeting waves over the heads of the bobbing crowd...
Sigh

I feared I was going to get demolished by a police horse that started getting a little angry near the Pyramid stage, other than that the police seemed to be friendly and getting into the spirit of things!

I took £100 with me and came back with £30 change.
Cashback.

Yeah, I too really artists who make awesome songs more awesome and really get into the festival spirit.

I really don't see Muse, Kings Of Leon or the Arctic Monkeys as fitting headliners for the 40th anniversary, at all. You'd need people like, as has been mentioned, Led Zep or The Smiths!

Latitude is a really nice small-ish festival.

I think a lot of his songs sound very much the same. It was a good set, though!
The version of The Ghost Of Tom Joad was, simply, incredible. Nils is such a good guitarist

Doing some free lance photography (only just starting out, mind) for a magazine!

I was lucky enough to have a press pass, so I managed to see Lily Allen (stood next to her and didn't know who she was!), Keith from the Progidy, Graham Coxon, the guy from Dirty Sanchez, the un-attractive ginger one from Girls Aloud and I met Damon Albarn too!

I turned my phone on after waking up and had two texts one through, one said ''Mate have you heard about Jacko?'' the other said ''Michael Jackson has died''
Strange thing to read when you are hung over and very sleepy eyed.

Oh! The dumplings from the jerk chicken place on the way to Shangri-La were awesome too!
Yeah, I didn't see any bands the whole weekend I just ate.

Ah I was left hand side as you looked at the stage. I'll post some pictures when I find my camera lead.

we were lucky enough to be on the barrier so had a perfect view and it really was something else, the noises he makes! And he does it all without effects too! It's like satan gargling with lightening
What ticket would you swap for Glastonbury
