We first went in 2008. It was going to be a one off - we had never been to festivals and it was just because Leonard Cohen was playing and we fancied it. We had such a good time we have been every year since!
-
We normally set off on Tuesday and stop overnight somewhere round Stafford, but we have something on tomorrow night so we are doing it in one go Wednesday from Aberdeen.

Sunday is really good for me. All I miss in an act in the sunday afternoon sunshine slot on the pyramid.
but then we had one of those last time in the form of paul simon and it was absolute poo-plops, so meh

You don't get much of a mansion for only a million pounds......

Billy Bragg talking about this.......

I agree with him in that the great thing about Glastonbury is there is something for everyone and so much diversity.

oh aye, I do buy some drinks from the bars dont get me wrong, but EVERY drink! it's insane!

It's no trek - Camp Kerala ferry you in in a land rover; they have access to the roadways the "talent" uses. And they offer the AAA passes. I really don't see any downside.
-
Looking at the road map I wonder whether entry to WV is via Stickleball Lane (same way to get to Pennard hill Farm camping)?
Can someone who stayed at the myhabs in previous years perhaps answer this?
Thanks

I normally walk to the toilet then walk back to where I was stood, saying excuse me to people as I move past them.

Mine is just my general Internet user name (my partner is lmsbossy!) I didn't have an avatar originally then someone posted a picture on here they must have taken during Rolf Harris in 2010 so I took that! Thanks whoever you are.

They're a guilty pleasure for me - so I'd probably be there.

You're welcome. Hope the old JB returns soon!

The site says you have to be registered with Glasto , you don't need to register for hospitality tickets
-
Is he? Can't see it myself. What am I missing?
-
These tickets will be hospitality tickets. They have the persons name on them but no photo. You have to carry I. D. eg passport to get in and to get your wristbands at the porta cabin behind the pyramid then every time you go in and out of the site.

Done - but you could add more age brackets so I'm not in the top one!!
-
mentally or actual age ?

I am far too near the bottom of the list of options in the poll for my liking!!

for the East Campervan fields, there's nothing to stop you entering it, so you can definitely have your brekkie if your friends are on that side.
I'm not sure if things work differently for the West campervan fields.

Great news, saw Rufus at Latitude last year and he was excellent.
-
Don't forget - no underwear. That'll help with the breezes.

Really? I haven't worn it yet so don't really know it's thermal retention value.

That's an interesting fact about the Arran sweaters. May have to look into them. I've got a kilt already which I bought for Shambala but didn't have the bottle to wear it in the end. It might be just the thing for Glasto this year though. With it going to be so hot and all.
You may have a point about the dryazabone coat though, so will re-consider.

I will have to cheat as apart from Glastonbury I haven't been to much this year so....
Stones at Glastonbury
Tom Tom Club at Glastonbury
Stereophonics, Aberdeen - much better than the last time I saw them
Biffy Clyro, Stavanger Konserthus (supported by Dry the River who were great)
But the highlight of the year has to be Dylan at the Clyde auditorium in Glasgow, he was immense.
