Hi,
I just had an email from See saying that they were unable to get the monies from my bank and supplied a link to try again. They said that I had till 11th Oct. to do it. I re put in my details and then phoned them up. It seems that they did not even try to get the money. As there were so many people all at the same time they had problems with there system. An email just saying that they needed the info again becouse of overload would have been better than saying they could not get the money. Thats the second heart attack in 4 days. I asked her to double check and she said it had gone through ok. Hope this helps some people. Still going to check my account everyday tho.

Our confirmation email arrived at 18.55, we managed to get ours about 10-15 mins before they sold out

Nineteen Times for me, I may well have visited loads of areas i wanted to see, but somehow it always becomes a multicolour kaleidoscopic jumble of emotional bliss about 20 minutes after i get on site. Damned if i know how

Pyramid stage litter. I don't care if you help repair broken children or rescue pensioner squirrels for a living, if you can't be arsed to put your pint cup in a bin / your bag, you're a c**t and deserve to be shot at dawn.

Back in the 90s and up till 2002 it was always 3 days (with help ) but now sleep is a must for at least a few hours every night and i dont miss that horrible paranoia and hollow (jarvis was spot on!) feeling i used to get for days afterwards.
Fun at the time though.

I think it was 1997 and very early in the day in the Dance tent was the band "Moodswings" who were a ambient electronica whirly -gig-ish sounding set of folks (whirly-gig was a fantastic club/collective at the time!) . I was off my noodle to say the least, but in a fantastic blissed out love everyone sort of way and then on walked a girl singer, its driving me nuts trying to remember her name because she had a couple of Big hits around that time but it escapes me for now...anyhoos, they did a cover of Redemption song that went into Oh happy day towards the end and it was a truely brilliant hands in the air swaying lovely glasto moment for everyone in the dance tent....on a side note the lead guy in the band was so twatted he fell over at the ends of the set flat out onto the stage with a huge grin on his face with eye pupils as big as bottle tops!....The song is on one of their albums with the very same guest vocalist .....oh what a day that was, despite being a complete mudfest!
Edit to say the girl was Tanita Tikaram

that was bad planning then wasnt it

Same as last year isn't it? In a weird sorta way I always think it adds to the last minute excitement...crapping it whether they're gonna turn up in time!
-
Dont expect to get yer hands on your tickets any time soon peeps...See are saying on their website that the tickets are gonna go out only 7-10 days beforehand..
I checked ticket tracker today only to find that statement

I dont think theres any hidden depth but by the same token he has proved himself popular at the festival so why not?....Storm in a teacup (or tropical cyclone in a billycan) if you ask me...just have fun!
-
Hopefully the flag wavers wont just all bunch together directly behind the no-flag zone...so anyone sitting/standing on the hill or on the disabled platforms is still unable to see the stage......They are pretty to look at flapping in the wind but f**king annoying when the performers are on

Sometimes the good guys or helpful mates end up being the ones used. I went out of my way to help a fellow Efester on here a couple of years ago by posting off a campervan pass that wasnt needed in return for the price id payed. Needless to say i was shit on from a great height and received nothing except a phone call on my mobile taking the piss out of me from them while i was at the festival....It has made me rather cynical although i try my best to remember there are many more good guys than bad out there
Worst shows you've ever seen.
