I'll go for Aretha, Bowie, Doves, Cohen (all easy choices), don't know anything by london boys, abdul or turd sandwich, Arcade (seen 'head twice, never seen Arcade), and Blur (amazing in '09 or whenever, Oasis are poomunchers).
The clash I keep having nightmares about is Daft Punk vs Janelle Monae, although probably irrelevant to many people, and not going to happen anyway.

Eagles would be great imho. Not headline, but somewhere on the bill. I know they have been a very financially motivated band over the years, but, hey, last years Sat night headliners pretty much wrote the book on that issue!

Basically.. My mothers stepbrothers daughters hairdresser bought a dog of somebody who claims his uncles half sister knows emily eavis' long lost auntie who told her that the headliners would be Led Zeppelin, Prince, and Bjorn Again.
I'm sure we can all agree that this is conclusive.
How did I know that was coming?
As I said, I don't believe it, but given we have not much to go on but wild speculation and rumour, I thought I'd chuck a bit more in the pot.....I am sure it will turn out they are not....but we can hope....

How do you know it's not a lottery?
Just because you lose twice - I played the lottery for two years straight without a win of anything, doesn't mean it was rigged against me. I've got other mates who keep winning 50's. it's just luck
Does suck though, you have my sympathies - i just don't want you feeling in any way denigrated or victimised when it's just blind chance placing the punches

Someone my housemate works with apparently knows Michael Eavis (yeah, yeah, I know), and says the headliners will be Fleetwood Mac, Adele and Led Zep. I don't give it any credence personally, but what the hey, worth chucking out there just in case it comes true and I can look smug.

Well, not by itself obviously, but if you ban resale websites, don't allow sales on gumtree (I think ebay don't do it anymore after stubhub launched), you're just left with outside the venue touts. Was chucking out a suggestion to help with the above problem of people hawking cheap tickets outside and marking them up. Probably should have said 'reduce' rather than 'eliminate' as well

No business is important enough that it deserves a gold plated pass to eternal profitability. If they make a poor booking then they have made a poor booking - that is their problem, their career and their professional judgement that have failed - why should someone else pay for it?
