Hey Strangegoose, I was outside the Pilton Palais for the film on Wednesday 3:15 but presumed you really didn't fancy suiting up in 32 degree heat! I had some heat-related issues myself (three tents in that heat - not recommended) and had to disappear into the shade with a massive bottle of water for a couple of hours and ended up missing the meetup - but deebeedoobee, being the awesome person they are, is going to forward Groot onwards to me.
He's had adventure no.1 at the festival already I'll take him on the beachy head marathon in October, got a couple of other plans for him too
I could barely sit through the film let alone wear a suit made of foam , it was so damn hot . Glad he's going to a good home for more adventures

brilliant ... did the baby groot get given out ?
I dropped baby groot off at the meet , but Balti pie wasn't there at the time so I have no idea what happened to him after that

Sorry to hear Goose
The vet has rung , she has stuvite crystals/stones so we can control it with diet if she will eat the special food. Thank heavens it wasn't a tumour . Now there is the small possibility that her bladder will get blocked and we will have to rush her to the vets . Fingers crossed that doesn't happen

My dogs stay with my mum while the rest of the family all head off to Glastonbury. One of my dogs is named Eavis ! He was born the week of the festival so I always miss his birthday , but I buy him a steak as means of an apology. He's going to be nine !

Got to work for the next 2 days , then go to a mates funeral , work the next 4 days all the while waiting to here if my dog has just got bladder stones or a tumour and if she will then need an op.......so all in all I'm not doing to great

My groot is covered in a couple of coats of pva glue , but even that flakes off because it flexes so much .

Assuming I get in and camp up at a decent time, if I am to be the first Grootholder (and what an honour it would be) then I could get him from the Pilton Palais when GOTG2 is shown at 3pm, show him the sights and then take him to the efests meet from 6pm. He'd then meet an army of new Grootholders!
I think this would work well as I won't be able to make thee festivals meet . So you collect him from cinema tent @balti-pie then take him on adventures and hand him over at the meet
i now have some 100 little flowers to hand out to those who know me as strangegoose

A kind of pass the parcel but with people taking photos of what he gets up to and posting on here after ...
Yep sounds like a plan . Who wants him first ?

Very impressive

looking great guys ... maybe the mini groot can get shared around amongst the efest community though the festival , if I get it I will happily pass it on
That would be a good idea , he could get up to all sorts of shenanigans
