Hmmm this looks interesting

Not much help but this thread just made me nostalgic and I had to post.
My first Glastonbury in 1995, I was living in Newquay and my friends and i had a hitch hiking race in twos, we left Newquay at 8 and were inside the festival for half eleven .
The liftshare option is definitely worth checking out both on here and on their website and in true Glastonbury spirit you might end up making some new friends. Good luck

Thanks! Now my friend can come with me . Sterling work.

It's a gem. I do so hope they play, it would be amazing to see them at Glastonbury, I'm thinking The Park in the sunshine Can't wait to hear this one after the Guy and Craig treatment, It could be the track that gets them the recognition they so deserve.

Really excited about this new album, first heard them play some of the new stuff at last years valentines day gig and then again at the glorious deaf institute gig later in the year. Hopefully this will be on it, I got shivers when i first heard it.

After seeing them at The Park in 2008 I have seen them several times since and sincerely think they are actually one of the best live acts around today. Funnily enough I think the album loses something in its production, much better live. Look forward to seeing them in 2010

I have no concerns at all, Emily did a great job with The Park last, I spent much more time there than i thought i would.
Good luck to her I say.

I think it was actually a £2 donation for a fake moustache, personally I didn't mind this as I was happy that it was going to charity, however i can understand the concern that it might set a trend for other places to do the same. Perhaps a voluntary contribution might have been better.

f**k! I must be a real anamoly! I'm a northerner who likes Fleet Foxes, Bon Iver, Hendrix, The Roses and the Stones!
There'll be cultural anthropologists the world over queueing up to analyse me.
(I'm not keen on Regina Spector though).

Personally, I really hope Mumford and Sons play, they were amazing at the Park on sunday morning last year and in Manchester later on in the year. Fingers crossed.
