I deleted my profile picture and now it doesn't do anything when I try to upload a new picture. I've tried pictures of different sizes and even entering a URL as an alternative. Nothing works, help?

I've had this fishing trolley for the last 2 seasons, it's still going strong, and I do a lot of festivals a year!
-
I'm cheating a little here but........I arrive onsite on the Monday before the gates open, but I work there, and that's the only way to do that I guess.....I could tell you about the cool crew parties that happen in the hippie fields on the Monday & Tuesday nights, but I won't as you'd probably hate me even more! :/

Oh I've taken my tent out of hibernation from under my bed where it's been sleeping since September last year

I just found out I'll be running the Jack Daniels Bar at Reading

Excellent, thanks a mill. I agree it's such a comfort putting both hands around a cup of lovely soup. Just hope I'm not going to need to.

Another Green Steward over here
-
and...If you drive there, you could possibly have to queue again to get back in
-
Camped in the Workers Beer Company Village. Why? Because our campsite is quieter, less likely to be robbed from and our bar is a quarter of the price of the ones onsite

Best festival ever!! Such happy times. So much love people!!! xxx

I work in the WBC village and we don't use a deposit system but I am sure it used to be 20 pence although what it will be this year is all up in the air.
I also recall there was minimum restrictions as to the amount that could be handed back so please check the board before trying to queue up.
At Latitude on the Monday { where cups had a £ 2 deposit } there was loads of people in the queue with a few cups even although the sign stated the minimum number was ten cups - as far as I know there was no restrictions on other days but as its not my department so its always best to double check.

This year as far as I am aware ' The white bar will be serving ales this year ' but its not clear what they mean by white bar as that is not a official WBC bar name.
Going by the bar map they have the union local marked out.
between NME/Radio 1 stage and Dance/Lock up stage
No information as to how many they will stock but if they follow on from the real ale tent at Glastonbury in previous years than it should be well stocked.

I'm hugely surprised that the licence allows dogs. Just about all other licences specifically exclude dogs, citing the health risk from their poo.
There seems to be an awful of lot of strange things go on around SGP, things that other festivals simply couldn't get away with. Given that the fest is run by the landowner (or his family), who I understand comes from what might be termed 'posh stock', I'm starting to think that there might be some funny handshakes or the like taking place.

I disagree with the comment made above that the alcohol sales on site are required to keep the fessie going....The capacity was doubled this year, if £150 per ticket and 26000 were sold(and having a live in vehicle set me back a further £50) doesn't keep them ticking over, nothing will.
The perimeter fence should've been for the main site only, if tent campers could've set up outside they would've been allowed to take in as much booze as they could carry, fair enough about not allowing into the arena but we in vans were able to be WELL stocked...doesn't seem fair.
Still, it's one of my fave fessies, I can take my dogs which makes life so much easier, however, if you double sales then double stewards, makes mathematical sense to me.
Also, Spangly Parking were not very spangly....more pissed off and stressed. We didn't even try to get into the main arena until 9pm, we'd been set up since 3pm but the queues were horrendous.
I think this fessie has something for everyone, nice and chilled on the near side of the lake and full mash up on the far side. The fireworks and boat burning this year were truly spectacular.
Will definetly be going again next year as well.....it's only a 45 min drive home...she says smuggly....xxxx

Stella, YUK! How full of chemicals is it again. Stella is chemically enhanced and nasty, fact!

Better off with a few small ones IMO
I've never done it mind, but I think having 10 people share a tent would get quite diguisting quite fast.
Plus if you have a few small ones you can put them in a circle and have a place to sit
I can't upload a profile picture
