Kedgerie (is that how it's spelt?) from the Goan fish curry stall in West Holts is an absolute breakfast treat.

I use Bastiste dry shampoo and have done for 16 years! It's perfect for the festival and does actually give my hair a bit of lift too but only go for the original, the others are cack!

Really?! You don't have a tattoo with your name do you?!
I hope I get to meet you this year! Everyone I introduce myself to there asks me if I'm you! -
Inspired by my recent trip to the Ritz, me and some of the girls on Twitter have organised at 'Tea at Glasto Meet'. Its at the Tiny Tea tent on Thursday at 11am, any ladies welcome and men if they are dressed like a laaaaaaddyyy! Feel free to posh it up!

We are heading to Glasto at 6pm on Tuesday, aiming to arrive at the carpark at about 10 ish. We are coming from Essex.
As I like to be organized, I email GFL and asked what car parks were going to be open as we like to follow the orange route to the west carparks as not to have too much of a long walk to . They emailed back to say there will be one carpark open either side. So we will have have to see where we get put!
As someone else said, I would rather kip in the car then be stuck in loads of traffic and not get a good camping spot.

I only got into them from Black holes album on wards but I saw them live last november at o2 and it was out of this world! Please if you have any doubt see this....

Ah, it wasn't everyone on Pennards, just everyone within 15 feet of my tent I could still hit the pillow and have a big grin to hear people having a good time nearby, so it's not the whole field, just some people who were there.
I had Theodore, Arabella and friends as my nearest neighbours. Theodore's family were in VIP and Arabella spent the whole weekend moaning about "lefties", me (who apparently pissed them off by pitching my tent several hours before their arrival JUST where they wanted a friend's space) and "all the smelly people". They spent their weekend throwing all their trash on the floor, then kicking it into my porch when it got hard to walk on. They left their 4 brand new 6 man, two bedroom tents, all their crap and most of their clothes when they left. My "hello neighbours" introduction was met with grunts and they were in no mood to speak to anyone outside of their 'campsite group'.
Behind me I had a huge tent, with people who similarly acted as if anyone who spoke to them from outside of their group was some sort of threatening prescence. I had a spare disposable barbeque when I'd cooked all my stuff, noticing that they'd also cooked I asked if they wanted my spare, to which they replied "what the f**k would we want that for?"....didn't bother with them again.
I am used to getting to know my neighbours, having a chat and catching up through the weekend, enjoying the 'all in it together' vibe. I didn't get that at Pennards last year, even though I tried.

I would love to be able to use my iphone to have a quick look at this forum (only) , the way that I have a quick look at Facebook. I find the forum too small to view on my iphone. Since getting it I dont go on my laptop anywhere as near enough as I used to and this is one of the sites which I dont visit as much, even though I love it!

For me its Mumford and Sons, I have already got a picture in my head. Sunny day, nice cold pear cider in hand. They have to be there!
I would also like to see Lightspeed Champion. I know they have been around for ages but I have just fell in love!

This is an excellent topic! I cant wait to see more posts.
Mine is probably when we were chatting round the camp fire with out neighbours, who we had got on great with, on the last night in 2008. I turned to one of the girls and and asked if she was on myface - It was a mix up between MySpace and Facebook! Nob!

I think because we are able to leave Essex at about 6pm on the Tuesday, I feel happy about the carpark opening at 9pm. If I couldnt leave until Wednesday morning, then I would live in fear that our beloved Triangle would be full. This every year gives me stress for the whole journey!
I really dont think they could physicaly keep us in our cars for the whole evening. I was wondering if we are all going to decend on the local pub?!

I thinik this is going to be so exciting, imagin the atmosphere! So will we have a massive carpark party or go to the local? In my eyes it adds an extra night to the festival - let the party begin!
-
I -have to say that I am with a lot of you. I am quite confident but when it come to wallking into places I get that 'will they think I am nob-cake' thing. Last year we camped so close to the Tipi, but didnt feel confident to go in So this year I will!
I would also love to do the sauna thing.
But this year I also explore a bit more. It will be my 5th festival but I still feel like there is so much I havent seen. I also want to do some crafts this year.

I love Twitter! I tweet alot, like 10 times a day or possible more. I love keeping uptodate with the things I love without having to visit several different web sites . Also there are not loads of people who know me in the real world on there so I can say what I like without offending people.
Oh I am Ladybugnina on there btw

Hmmmmm I wonder if the car park/ tuesday night thing is a yes then? I suppose them saying that Glastonbury will announce how these will operate does mean yes?
