  1. Excue my ignorance but this is my first Creamfields.

If you look at the line-up for Saturday and Sunday there are different names for the stages. Why is that?

And why is there no North Stage for the Saturday but one on the Sunday?

    Can someone please explain? Thanks.

  2. I'm not a Radiohead fan by any stretch of the imagination. For example my ipod has about 4 tracks of theirs (Creep, High and Dry, Street Spirit and another one which I don't even remember). The only time I've seen them play was in 1993 when they supported James.

I went to the Park because, at the time, we genuinely didn't know who was playing. I was hoping for Pulp.

And I have to say I was actually pleasantly surprised by them and their performance. I only recongnised one track but it didn't matter. Their set was much more upbeat than my perception of what a Radiohead gig would be like.

Is it correct most of their set was from their latest album? Is that what they do these days instead of the whiny depressing stuff I associate with Radiohead?

Although there is a lot of negativity about Radiohead (I too have been guilty in the past!) I may now be a convert. I need to check out more of their stuff.

Any recommendations for more more upbeat tunes of theirs please?

    Thanks.

  3. no by failure I mean a couple of hundred people standing around watching a complete fook up, despite months of preparation.

It would have been miles better if just him and his mates turned up and did it on their own, like most people do at the stone circle. Rather than having it swarming with idiots all holding their iphones aloft to record a "glastonbury moment".

    It's not a glastonbury moment, it's shit

  4. Fantastic stuff.

Towards the end of the set (before Sunrise, I think) Jarvis was talking about being transported to Shangri-La and something about the sunrise at Stone Circle. I didn't catch exactly what he said BUT later that night we wandered into Club Dada and there was Jarvis singing again with a drummer and DJ! Amazing.

So the Shangri-La part had become true, we then optimistically went to Stone Circle at sunrise, expecting to see him again. It had been a long night and didn't see him but didn't stay long.

Can anyone remember exactly what he said and did he turn up at Stone Circle at all?

  5. I thought it worked out great. I was quite close to the front. One of the highlights of this year for me.

Who was the lady walking around with the big camera videoing it? It looks like she was part of the organisation. Will she be uploading the videos onto YouTube. Hope so.

Well done to all who arranged it.
