If i do manage to get my groups sorted I have no problem helping others out after

I thought you needed the booking reference, plus either the postcode of the ticket holder or the last 4 digits of the payment card?
Not aware of being able to use your Reg number to track with.....?
I am sure last year i put in reg number then my postcode and it came up with confirmation of my number as holding a locals ticket. I only remember because i was thinking the transfer hadn't gone through, as every time i put my number in it said no ticket had been booked with that number, turned out i was putting my old registration number in! As soon as i put the up to date one in it came up straight away that i had a ticket!!
-
If you put the registration number into seetickets tracker it should tell you which ticket you have got with it! It works for locals tickets too(it did last year anyway!)
-
Don't forgot tho that any "locals ticket" can be transferred to anyone as long as they have a valid registration number. So it is possible that they got him a legitimate locals ticket and did it the right way! I know this is right cos this is how i got lucky with a ticket last year, my friends transferred their locals ticket to me.

sorry yes meant "local area" tickets.
-
Any local residents had their tickets delivered yet?

is there a chance the track will bend......

A few years back (I assume 2011 the year U2 headlined) a couple of friends in my group found a U2 themed Karaoke bar with weird puppets. They would give you sun glasses and you'd go round the back of a little stage, put your head through the hole so it looked like you were Bono and the Edge and you sang U2 based Karaoke.
I assume this was only for 2011 but some other version of this should be there every year.
This bar was awesome!!! Sign outside said welcome to the church of the blessed Bono. Whenever i hear Where The Streets Have No Name i think of people in this bar behind that little stage singing along :-)

The pulled pork sandwich with apple and chilli coleslaw from the school bus near Block 9 was awesome!!!
Also the beef momo combo at the Tibetan stall (they have this at 2000 trees festival and its always good, glad it got to Glasto this time)
Tried Goan Fish curry after all of the people on here raved about it, was very very good, a bit of the homemade chilli sauce with it was good too.
the dessert van near the bandstand was excellent too, had an amazing chocolate fudge cake which was warmed up and served with fresh cream, yum yum!
Spicy Pulled beef sandwich from the Barrelhouse? stall was very good, onion rings with it to top it off nicely!
Again based on what people on here had said i tried the Welsh Oggie stall, had a lamb one fresh out of the oven and it was delicious.
Veggie stall by the walkway to the park was great as well, had a very tasty spinach and feta wrap with a nice red cabbage and nut salad, tahini and a spicy harrissa sauce.
oh and last day treat was brekkie in the Beat Hotel, pancakes with smoked bacon and maple syrup, yum yum yum!!!
wow i just realised how much i ate!! i can never understand why people live off shit burger and chips for 5 days when there is so much awesome food to try, i seem to eat better at Glasto than i do at home!

agree with posts above, it was all a little sad this year. No stage or music in the area just left if looking and feeling a bit lifeless. needs to go back to what it was IMO.

saw greg james from Radio 1 in the unfairground sunday night

there were definately some dodgy goings on regarding people without tickets being shipped in, i also heard that some security were shipping people in for the right price. also when i got my wristband re-done on entry on wed the supervisor was telling ticket checkers on the gates that there were a lot of fake tickets going round and they must do all of their checks on each ticket beofreletting people in. i also know people that walked straight throught the gate sunday evening, no ticket, no pass,no wristband and no questions asked! as said above why bother getting round the wall of steel when it seems so easy just to walk in!
-
Got tomorrow and Tuesday to get through, i can safely say not much will be getting done! in my head i am already at Glasto!!!
-
great pub, they welcome all festival goers.i always park there, so much easier than getting stuck in a field!! last time they also sold mini barrels of lager and flagons of cider for people to buy and take in to the festival, also remember that they had a bbq outside selling breakfast baps for people arriving. we grabbed some food in there on the wed night as well before attempting the second run back from the car, had a top notch thai green curry, yum!

Not too far; Linton, which is near Ross on Wye. My husband grew up there though so he knows it well. I just know it for the relentless slog of the nearby hills. The hill of death no longer gives me any fear!

Even though it would have slightly less impact because people can bring their own drink into the Gladtonbury site, I do think they should look into deposit schemes for cups.
