Looking at the app it looks like Todd terje is no longer playing the Saturday. Cat Power moved into his main stage slot. Can't find anything else to back this up though?

Oh boy, I walked straight into that one...

Really? I can't see them.
Yeah it was announced on BST's Twitter last night. No idea where they will play.

Well this has worked out very nicely. All my major clash fears expect Father John Misty and Tame Impala have been avoided.
Can someone who has been before remind me how long it takes to walk between between the two main stages?

The invisible added to the Florence/Kendrick day today. Not sure where they will slot in.
Wish sets were more spread out, it's an unexpectedly jam packed line up now.

Kendrick only doing an hour blows - particularly with Jamie xx having 75 minutes in the slot before. Would miss Cat Power and probably Kamasi too. Less enthused.
edit: tho I guess Kendrick barely does more than an hour at any festival so had it coming.
Really surprised by the set times. Kamasi Washington straight into Kendrick is on odd-one, as a sizeable chunk of fans of Kamasi Washington have got into him through Kendrick Lamar, going to be difficult if not impossible to see all of both.
Jamie XX getting 75 minutes for a bloated DJ set in the middle of the day also doesn't seem like the best of planning... Gives time to go get something to eat I suppose...
Any chance of these times being totally wrong? They haven't officially announced them have they?

I picked up a leaflet after Father John Misty on Wednesday that has the complete stage by stage breakdown (in alphabetical order) can snap a picture of it when I get home if anyone wants a look?
Most the information has already been released. The acts are distributed pretty widely across the stages, so it could be a clashy day.
It highlights three artists, PJ Harvey, The Avalanches and Air (in that order) which would indicate The Avalanches closing the tent?
Personally, the other way around, with the possibility of seeing all three of PJ Harvey, Beach House and The Avalanches, would be perfect..

I do feel a bit confident that looking at previous years, they don't seem to let the biggest artists on the 2nd stage clash with the headline band on the main stage.

...You never know. That would be a great day.

9th july on the Heineken! Doesn't that automatically place him last, therefore Ratatat and Grimes will play during M83 and AF?
Bit of a double edged sword that one. Love Four Tet, but yes, it would indicate Grimes will now clash with Arcade Fire.

Lets just wish for this... would be perfect end to the festival.

I think they are going to clash with Caribou or Sigur Ros though, looks like they are headlining the soundclash tent.
Would be a shame if so.

Four Tet, Erol Alkan, Pional, and Floating Points amongst others have just been announced for Bilbao BBK. Along with other recent announcements the undercard for Bilbao is really very good now.

Would be nice to have an addition this week. How many more international names do you think we have left?
Could the rest of line up be local bands?

I think it finalises a pretty fantastic Sunday line-up. Another festival for me I think.
It feels like the London day-festivals this year in general have had to up their game. A lot of good line-ups out there.

I have a funny feeling that The Avalanches are getting announced for field day tonight. Evidence:
Twitter earlier today, pictures of butterflies - Avalanches social media was changed to a golden butterfly last night.
Then an announcement an hour ago stating something is happening at 11pm tonight, which is 9am tomorrow in Australia, where the Splendour in the Grass announcement is happening on Triple J radio. It is widely rumoured that The Avalanches are launching their comeback soon, with a big slot at the festival.
I could be wrong...but that's my hunch.

M83 new album has leaked and has some pretty good songs
I'll give it a few more listens to know which are my favorite songs but Bibi The Dog (what a name!) is good!
It's out tomorrow I think isn't it? Will definitely take a listen. Re-listened to the tracks that have been released today, only really liked Do It, Try It, regardless I look forward to seeing them live (unless they clash with Grimes)

7th and 8th are great but... M83 followed by Arcade Fire is something special for me!
here's the setlist of the first M83 concert since their comeback! Great that they still play Intro/Outro.

Agreed, it should be great. I can't get too excited about this new album though, what do you think of the first tracks from Junk?

I don't really know them that well; is it okay to watch them instead of Pixies if they do clash?
I think they are both pretty legendary acts, but Soulwax would likely be more entertaining live.
Looking at previous years line-ups on the site, generally the second stage 'headliners' tend to not play at the same time as the main stage headliners, hopefully this would mean we can see both each night. Would anyone that has been before agree that this is the case?

On July 7th Soulwax will be playing on Heineken Stage at #NOSalive! nice
Fantastic. Figured it wasn't happening after they just announced a 2 Many Dj's set.
No idea where they slot in though. Similar time to Pixies?
Also, John Cooper Clarke was announced yesterday, quite a random booking?

They announced that the line-up already has all the bands and it is "closed"
by this, do you mean the NOS stage line up is 'closed' i.e. no more announcements.
Be good to know the rest within two weeks.

I doubt that will be it for the main stage. Seems rather odd considering the packed line ups on the other two days, they do after all still need to sell day tickets for the Saturday. However if it were to mean that they spread out M83, Arcade Fire, Grimes & Ratatat so that it is possible to sell all four, I would call that a pretty successful day.

Or Grimes?
I'm crossing my fingers for grimes post arcade fire. That would be perfect.
As would Bon Iver sub, but I think it's doubtful.

Probably already been said but Underworld surely will be added to it as they are playing at BBK that weekend on the 8th and no other dates booked for that weekend so i would say they will play on the 9th!!
Would we not have heard of this already?
Unless they are going to be added to clubbing stage? Like junior boys were?
Lovebox 2016
in other Dance festivals

Well LCD Soundsystem were great last night, the last run of 6 or so songs is about as good as it gets, however I think this is the end of big outdoor London shows for me, especially at Victoria Park, like Field Day, the sound was far too quiet but more than anything there were just far too many people there who couldn't care less about the music, or even worse, people that claim to like the band but talk through the entire thing.
I knew going in that Lovebox wouldn't quite be to my liking, judging off the rest of the line up, but this was the worst festival atmosphere I have witnessed, coupled with pretty terrible sound.
Here's hoping for a run of indoor shows when the new album comes out.
